The incumbent will be responsible for the detailing, polishing, on Zytexx clients vessels in preparation for application of our Zytexx Ceramic products. A very high level of workmanship is required.

Yacht Polishing Job Duties Activities will include but not limited to

Performs priming, polishing and detailing to assigned vessels in preparation of our Applicator Team applying Zytexx Ceramic products, both in and out of the water
Complying with Technical Safety Data Sheets (TSDS) systems and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) plus Hazardous Material storage.
Measuring vessel square meterage to provide accurate estimate of product needed for each job
Creates a positive, enthusiastic and dynamic work environment.
Represents Zytexx to a high professional manner at all times, including liaison with yacht, shipyard and port staff.


Yacht Polishing Skills and Experience


Experience of polishing/detailing on superyachts.
Knowledge and experience of the yachting industry.
A good eye for detail and pride in a job well done.
Two (2) years experience as a polisher in a shipyard, Military, Merchant or Marine environment.
Knowledge and experience of environment necessary for surface preparation ie humidity, wind, temperature, contamination etc.
Knowledge of and ability to perform proper surface preparation.
Familiarity working with Technical Safety Data Sheet (TSDS) and MSDS Material Safety Data Sheet systems.
Knowledgeable working with hazardous material and its proper storage.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Essential requirements

You must have the right to live and work in this location to apply for this job.
Possess a valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
Hold a Cherry Picker Licence.
You must provide your own polishing equipment (to include polishers, pads etc).
This position is for an independent contractor and is paid on a per m2 rate plus expenses.
You must be registered with your own company or as a self-employed person in your country of residence and will be responsible for paying your own tax and national insurance contributions.
You will need to have your own transportation, smartphone or digital camera and a computer.
Willing to travel anywhere in the world to undertake Zytexx work.
Hold professional indemnity insurance.
