Zytexx have a new vacancy for a Technical Sales Representative to join our established marine coatings business.
We are seeking to expand our team and looking for a highly motivated and driven experienced sales representative with a passion for yachting to join our team in the South of France. Sales experience within the Yachting industry is essential, with technical experience a distinct advantage.
Zytexx offers a competitive commission split with a monthly retainer and strong back-office support,
This position is for an independent contractor. You will need to have your own transportation, smartphone or digital camera, and a computer. You must be eligible to work within Europe.
Supplying our market-leading global brand and negotiating applications contracts, you will assist clients throughout the western Mediterranean with your technical knowledge and support. Experience of working with yachts and their crew, as well as yacht maintenance facilities is essential and Area Sales expertise is preferred. The successful candidate will be required to travel covering a large geographic area, expect to spend nights away on a regular basis and up to 4.5 days a week travelling.
The applicant will need to be well-organised to plan and maximise the number of visits they schedule.

Technical Sales Representative Job Duties
Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations.
Closes new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information.
Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.
Represents Zytexx to a high professional manner at all times including liaison with yacths, shipyards, management groups, port staff and crew.
Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders; understanding and interpreting technical requirements; providing technical information; developing accounts.

Technical Sales Representative Skills and experience
Two years proven experience within a competitive sales position
Proven success in closing contracts
Working within the Mega yacht industry
Meeting Sales Goals,
Client Base,
Closing Skills,
Prospecting Skills,
Technical Understanding,
English as mother tongue (to a high standard in both written and verbal)
Other languages a distinct advantage
Building Relationships,
People Skills,
Customer Focus,
Professionalism,
Motivation for Sales.
Sales or technical qualification (an advantage)
Working with shipyards and yacht management companies

Essential requirements

You must have the right to live and work in this location to apply for this job.
Possess a valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
This position is for an independent contractor and is paid on a retainer/commission split plus expenses.
You must be registered with your own company or as a self-employed person in your country of residence and will be responsible for paying your own tax and national insurance contributions.
You will need to have your own transportation, smartphone or digital camera and a computer.
Willing to travel anywhere in the world to undertake Zytexx work.
Willing to undertake test patches
