Marymount International School, Paris is seeking substitute nurse for short and medium term assignments for Grades Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8.

JOB  DESCRIPTION

Main Responsibilities Include:

To promote the health and well-being of our students
To be able to deal with medical emergencies whilst on campus and give immediate care to the sick or injured child

Ensure the safety of students in school, ensuring each childs health records are maintained
To administer medication and be responsible for their safe keeping
To communicate with staff and parents on health issues which may arise
To implement and update school protocols and staff first aid training

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

RGN/IDE valid registration with the DDASS is necessary to work in France
Pediatrics, Accident and Emergency experience helpful

Skills and Experience

Perfect English and proficient in French
Counselling skills 
Health promotion and education
A previous experience in an International environment with Children is a plus
Basic computer skills
Enjoys working with children essential
To be part of the school community
Obligation of discretion and confidentiality
